Joe is the Founder of Ali’s Hope Foundation. He is a Member of CLEO (Community Leadership of Elected Officials) and PBAS     ( Private Business Association of Seminole County).  Joe and his wife are active members of Annunciation Catholic Church

Ali’s Hope Foundation was established in honor of Joseph and Helen Gallagher’s daughter, Alyson Grace, who suffered from a brain disorder called schizoaffective disorder, and took her own life on April 29, 2007.

The mission of Ali’s Hope Foundation is to address the growing mental health crisis among adolescents and young adults by providing accessible, school-based education, support, and early intervention. 

Hope is an integral part of our Ali’s Hope program. The intention of Ali’s Hope is to share Ali’s spirit of generosity and help raise the quality of life of individuals afflicted with mental illness through this effort.
